Jennifers walk will start from a lane about 1/2 mile south east of Chalton village SU73725 16440 refers, N50.9427 degrees W0.95200 degrees. Alternatively,  from the A3, take the road to the left in Chalton village and after only about  1/2 mile take an extremly sharp turn left and we will  park beside the road after a few hundred yards. The walk goes over the railway line at Woodcroft Farm. We will pass Ditcham Park School before joining the South Downs Way with lunch at The Five Bells, Buriton, then across Head Down Plantation back to the cars. The walk is 6.1 miles and is hilly in parts.
