Bosham Day Walk 31st July 2019

Marian, Maddie. Linda and June are leading a walk around Bosham about 6/7 miles. Park at Apuldram church SU 841 032 or N50.8224° W0.8070° or struck.cabs.mostly (what3words app.).  Lunch in the Anchor Bleu in Bosham.

East Dean Morning Walk 24th July 2019

Jennifer will be leading this walk around East Dean, starting from The Star and Garter PO18 0JG . About 4.1/2 miles. Walkers are requested to order food at the start of the walk. Lunch members can order at lunchtime or order direct over the phone.

Stoughton Day walk 17th July 2019

Tim and Jane's Day Walk will start from the layby in West Marden, SU7730 1365,   PO18 9EN. If it's full up there is more parking in the road opposite up towards the Victoria Inn. The walk will take us to Up Marden and then on to Stoughton for lunch in The Hare and Hounds. About 6.1/2 miles.

Stroud Morning Walk 10th July 2019

Pauline's walk is in Stroud so we will be leaving Midhurst north street car park at 9.45am. The walk starts at the Seven Stars in Stroud near Petersfield GU32 3PG, (SU72305 23666) after just under four miles of undulating farm and woodland walking with views of the South Downs we return back to the Seven Stars for lunch. Car parking available at pub. The walk has some steps up short hills which taken slowly will make it a satisfying walk, even though it is under 4 miles.

London Walk 3rd July 2019

Marian, Jane and Tim will be walking in London. Train will leave at 9.15 from Haslemere. The distance we will be walking will be a total of around 6 miles but with sightseeing and ambling around London's history the return to Haslemere is unlikely to be before 7.00pm. Please make sure you have a bus pass and also a credit card (we probably won't be using buses, tubes, boats or planes but it's always good to have cards with you, just in case). We will be visiting Covent Garden, Lincoln's Inn, Fleet Street, St Paul's, and walking along the South Bank.  We don't anticipate actually going inside St Paul's as we don't have enough time to do justice to the £15 admission price.          Train fare from Haslemere is £19.20 as a member of a group (who must travel together) -- about the same as if you have a Senior Railcard. Please let Tim or Marian know if you intend to come and also if you would like to be included in the group ticket purchase.
