Weavers Down Morning Walk 18th March 2020

Tim and Janes' walk will be starting from The Deers Hut in Liphook GU30 7PD and will be over the Weavers Down and Forest Mere area. It is a generally sandy area so hopefully won't be too wet!  The walk is about 5 miles with lunch in The Deers Hut at the end of our walk '. SADLY THIS WALK IS NOW CANCELLED AS MIDHURST FOOTPATH COMPANIONS NEEDS TO DISCOURAGE ANY GATHERING OF "VULNERABLE" PEOPLE. Please see emails and the news section of this website for any updates.

Lovedean to Hambledon Day Walk 11th March 2020

The walk is from Lovedean to Hambledon with Denis leading the way. Parking on the grass  near to the Bird in Hand in Lovedean PO8 9RX, what3 words - secure.tanks.takes.  Lunch will be in The Vine in Hambledon and the walk is about 6.1/2 miles.

Hunston canal Morning Walk 4th March 2020

The route planned by Jean has had to be delayed due to the conditions on the pre-walk and is now replaced with an easy walk that includes canal towpath, urban pavement, hedgerow and field, no stiles, a break at the canal basin where there is a cafe run by volunteers and ending with lunch at the Spotted Cow, Hunston, nr Chichester. Leave Midhurst North street car park 9.45am or meet in the Spotted Cow pub car park, PO20 1PD, on the B2145 road, what3words = covers.rails.music, SU86110 01905.

Hindhead Punch Bowl Day Walk 26th Feb 2020

Tim and Jane's walk will start from a small car park next to Boundless Road, just before it dips under the new A3. To get there, take the A3 north through the Hindhead Tunnel and take the first exit to Thursley at the bottom of the hill. Almost immediately turn left into Boundless Road and go back up the hill for about a mile. Before the road goes under the new A3, you should see a car park on the right. The walk is about 6.8 miles and will take us into the bottom of the Punch Bowl. This route has been walked this wet week and wellington boots were NOT needed!

Duncton Hill Morning Walk 19th February 2020

Meet at the Badgers pub at Coultershaw Bridge, Petworth GU28 0JF at 10.15 am latest for pre-ordering our meals. We will then car share to the view point car park on Duncton Hill as the car park is quite small. The walk is 4.5 miles. There’s a steepish climb at the beginning but not too long and then mainly level with one more short uphill - no stiles.
