Weavers Down Day Walk 13th March 2019

This walk has changed and will now be over Weavers Down and Chapel Common. near Liphook.  For the start of the walk, drive towards Liphook from Rake on the B2070 (old A3) and immediately before the dual carraigeway, turn left down a small road and there is parking in a further 150 yards. Junction is at SU812 280. Lunch will be at the Deers Hut and will be about 6 or 7 miles, subject to the weather on the day.

Coultershaw Bridge Morning Walk 6th March 2019

March 6, 2019, 9:45 a.m.

Mike and Gill are leading a walk  which  is 4.5 miles starting from Badgers Pub (SU970 193) on the A285 at Coultershaw Bridge near Petworth. There is a longish but very gradual incline fairly near the start. Otherwise it is mainly flat with no stiles. It takes us over the River Rother and past Tillington church. The pub are happy for us to park there in the morning. The pub requires food to be pre-ordered, so please keep a look out for an email from Mike and Gill.

Bramshott Day Walk 27th February 2019

Feb. 27, 2019, 9:45 a.m.

The walk will start from a car park at the end of Rectory Lane in Bramshott SU855 338. If you join the A3 at Liphook and head north, Rectory Lane is about 3/4 mile towards Hindhead on the left hand side. Take care as the turning is quite small - go to the end of the lane, ignoring a turning on the left. The walk has some steep bits but they are quite short and there are also at least 2 stiles, but probably no more than that. Lunch will be in licensed premises and the walk is about 6.1/2 miles.

Tilford Short Walk 20th February 2019

Feb. 20, 2019, 9:45 a.m.

Tim and Jane's short walk will be from the Barley Mow (GU10 2BU) in Tilford, parking outside the pub or in the nearby car park by the river.  The walk is about 4.1/2 to 5 miles and has few stiles.

Hawkley Long Walk 13th February 2019

Feb. 13, 2019, 9:45 a.m.

This walk is to be led by Denis. It will start from the Station Road car park (GU33 7AJ) in Liss, next to the playing field and just beyond St Mary's Church. For those travelling from Midhurst you will need to go over the level crossing and the car park is another 300/400 yards further on the left. If there is a lack of space, Denis will be there to direct you to alternative parking.   Lunch in the Hawkley Inn and the walk will be around 6 miles.
