Elsted Morning Walk 23rd May 2018

Celia and Miguel will be doing a Morning walk as several members are away this week. The walk will start from the Three Horseshoes in Elsted SU 817196, post code GU29 0JY. There will be some lovely views and the walk willl be about 4 miles.

Liphook Morning Walk 16th May 2018

This walk will take us to Milland Church and then over onto Chapel Common. Parking and lunch at The Links Tavern, Liphook GU30 7EF, SU8373 3067. About 5.1/2 miles.

Chawton Day Walk 9th May 2018

 Mike and Gill are going  to lead a walk from Chawton to Farringdon and back with lunch in The Rose and Crown.   About 6.1/2 miles with only a few stiles. Lambs everywhere. Car parking in the car park opposite Jane Austen's house. SU7087 3753.

Ebernoe Short Walk 2nd May 2018

SORRY TO SAY THIS WALK HAS BEEN CANCELLED OWING TO THE WEATHER, ALL WELCOME TO THE STAG INN  AT 12.45.                  Kate and Nigel's walk is from Ebernoe  Holy Trinity Church Postcode GU28 9LD. The walk is about 5 miles, 2 stiles, a couple of muddy awkward stretches but mostly good going.  Cuckoo was there last week but it may have moved on by now. Lunch at the Stag Inn.  OS map ref for Ebernoe Church is SU975 278

Hindhead Punch Bowl 25th April 2018

This is a change to the programme - Tim and Jane's walk will start from a small car park next to Boundless Road, just before it dips under the new A3. To get there, take the A3 north under the Hindhead Tunnel and take the first exit to Thursley at the bottom of the hill. Almost immediately turn left into Boundless Road and go back up the hill for about a mile. Before the road goes under the new A3, you should see a car park on the right. SU899 378 or N51° 7' 58" , W 0° 42' 58".  Lunch in the Three Horseshoes, Thursley. The walk is about 6.2 miles and will take us into the bottom of the Punch Bowl. Let's hope the weather will be better than last time!
