Rogate Morning Walk 18th April 2018

John and Barbara's next short walk on 18th April is around Rogate. Starting from the lay-by on the A272 1/2 mile from Rogate going east. N51º00’26.74’—W0º50’09.45”. Going is gradual clime and fall, about 41/2 miles, there will be mud. Peter and Trevor will be at Midhurst car park. Lunch at The Elsted Inn. N50º58’44.84”—W0º48’48.13”

Goodwood Day Walk 11th April 2018

Marian, Linda, June and Maddie are walking in the West Dean, Goodwood and Singleton area. About 7 miles and there are some hills. Lunch will be at The Partridge in Singleton. Meeting in the Midhurst car park as usual. Please let Marian know by Monday if you require lunch.

Liss Morning Walk 4th April 2018

April 4, 2018, 9:45 a.m.

Mary’s walk on Wednesday 4th April will start from The Newman Collard car park, Hill Brow road, Liss. 51º02’26.31”N- 0º53’27.23”W. About 41/2 miles easy going. Lunch is arranged at The Jolly Drover on the understanding that if the walk is cancelled, we will still turn up for lunch between 12-30 and 1-00. If you are planning to walk please let Mary know no later than Monday, as the pub would like to know how many.

Hindhead Punch Bowl 28th March 2017

March 28, 2018, 9:45 a.m.

Tim and Jane's walk will start from a small car park next to Boundless Road, just before it dips under the new A3. To get there, take the A3 north under the Hindhead Tunnel and take the first exit to Thursley at the bottom of the hill. Almost immediately turn left into Boundless Road and go back up the hill for about a mile. Before the road goes under the new A3, you should see a car park on the right.  SU899 378 or N51° 7' 58" , W 0° 42' 58". Lunch in the Three Horseshoes, Thursley. The walk is about 6.8 miles and will take us into the bottom of the Punch Bowl.

West Dean Short Walk 21st March 2018

March 21, 2018, 9:45 a.m.

Paul's walk will start in West Dean. Travelling from Midhurst, go past The Dean Inn pub and then take the immediate first left to the ‘Village Store/Shop’ and park by the streams at the bottom - PO18 0QY. Lunch will be at The Royal Oak in Midhurst.
