Den's walk will start from the Taro Leisure Centre/ Penns Place car park GU31 4EX - meet up at the far end of the car park, near the Rugby pitch. The walk is about 5 miles with lunch at the Great Oak. Nice views of Harting Hill.
The day walk starts from the Clanfield Memorial Hall Postcode PO8 0RB, which is about 200 yards on the left beyond the shops - look out for a small sign for the recycling Centre and park at the far end. There is a coffee shop if you want to save some back packing weight and we will be lunching at thr Ball and Ball. Be aware the walk may have to be cancelled if the weather looks hot as there is very little shade. Currently the forecast is quite good - much cooler than Tuesday! Walk is about 7 miles
This is Marian, Maddie and Linda's walk from Ferhurst to Lurgashall, lunch in the Noahs Ark. The walk is about 7.1/2 miles and has a few hills in the morning and could be a bit muddy. Anyone going direct rather than the Midhurst car park can go directly to the car park behind the shops in Fernhurst, access from Vann Road.
This lovely walk is not to be missed, particularly if you like orchids. Walking from Selborne Arms car park the walk goes to Noar Hill. Common spotted, pyramidal orchids and commom twayblade are in abundance. Lunch is in the Selborne Arms GU34 3JR and they would like our order before we start out. The walk is about 5 miles. A gentle walk at Chidham now replaces the London walk as the weather has turned up the heat! The walk starts from the Chidham car park SU 794 035 and we will walk for about 4.1/4 miles along the shore before lunch and a massive 3/4 of a mile back to the car park in the afternoon. So 5 miles in total, no hills and possibly no stiles!
