Coates Common Morning/Day Walk 7th June 2017

This is really a Long Walk day but due to holidays it will actually be a Morning Walk. Isabel's walk will probably start in the Lord's Piece car park, is around 4 miles and relatively easy. The car park is at SU 992 169 - or take the Duncton road from Petworth, cross Coutershaw bridge then next left to Sutton and Bignor. Pass Burton Mill Pond on the right, straight across the crossroads and then take the next right. The Lords Piece car park entrance is about 500 yards on the left.

Loxwood Morning walk 31st May 2017

Paul has planned a morning walk along the canal at Loxwood planned, with parking near the Onslow Arms. Map reference 51deg 04’ 13” N 00 30’ 54” W or National Grid TQ041311. Anybody going straight there please drive through the pub car park and park in the second larger car park. The walk is not too long and flat.

Chalton Day Walk 24th May 2017

This day walk starts from the public car park next to the Red Lion in Chalton, PO8 0BG.  The walk is about 7 miles with lunch  probably in the Red Lion in Horndean.

Henley Morning Walk 3rd May 2017

This walk starts from the car park of The Duke of Cumberland in Henley village. GU27 3HQ. The walk is just about 5 miles long. For those puzzled by the photo, it was taken at The Duke of Cumberland on the occasion of the inaugural Midhurst Footpath Companions walk in February 1989.
