Day walk 14th September, Chidham

This will be Jennifer's walk, around 7 miles, but a little bit depends on the tide. Lunch will be at the Old House at Home.

This is Paul's walk, starting from the car park at the top of Cocking Hill. More details to follow.

Day walk 31st August 2016 LONDON

LITTLE VENICE – CAMDEN LOCK - REGENTS PARK

Taking the tube to Warwick Avenue. Walking from Little Venice following the Canal path to Camden Lock. Here we have lunch then retrace our steps back to Regents Park for a circular walk around the park. Approximate time of arrival back at Haslemere between 6 - 8pm

HASLEMERE TO WATERLOO

We need to catch the train that leaves Liss at 09.02, leaves Liphook at 09.09 and leaves Haslemere at 09.15, which then arrives at Waterloo at 10.15am. The recommended way is to buy the ticket on-line the day before - this will be an OFF PEAK DAY RETURN. To buy one ot these, you need to have a senior railcard OR be in a group of at least 3 people.

TRAIN FARE: £17.70 from Haslemere,  £18.80 from  Liphook  or   £21.50 from Liss.

(There is a SWT POMOTIONAL DAY RETURN ticket  for £16.00 but this means you cannot get on the return train between 4.00 pm and 7.07pm, and this will not give enough time for the full walk).

TUBE : using contactless credit/debit card for £2.40

BUS PASSES NEEDED FOR RETURN 

Morning Walk Walderton 24th August 2016

Den's walk will probably be at Walderton, passing though  Watergate Hanger and past Watergate House, perhaps a bit less than 5 miles with lunch at The Barley Mow in Walderton.

 

 

 

Day Walk at Parham 17th August 2016

Aug. 17, 2016, 9:45 a.m.

Jeff's walk is about 7.3/4 miles and is fairly flat. Lunch will probably be at The Sportman Inn in Amberley and then back to Parham via the Southdowns Way
