Redford AGM walk on 4th November 2026

Today was the day for our annual AGM and once again we were in Redford Village Hall. We assembled outside, with a few going inside to do the preparation for our feast and thus missing the walk. We started along the road towards Midhurst but opposite the garage we turned left and from then on it was mostly uphill until we reached the viewpoint above Woolbeding Common. The views were to the South Downs, about 20 miles away. A few photos and we were on our way, following the Serpent Trail past Scotland Farmhouse. After a slight descent we managed to find a stopping point for a drink although the chestnut trees failed to give us much in the way of seating! Refreshed, we left the Serpent Trail and walked through Northpark Copse and past Upper Lodge and after finding the new Lipchis Way, we followed it around Telegraph Hill and Older Hill until we reached a previous stopping point above Redford. A slightly different descent back into the village soon had us back at Redford Village Hall, with a table prepared for our delicious lunch, prior to our AGM.
